What am I getting?
Lessee is responsible for furnishing paper towels, toilet paper, soap and garbage liners as part of the janitorial agreement. Elston Cleaning, LLC will provide these items as part of the janitorial services fee. Additionally, the Rules for Clean Up of Facilities specifies that a specific janitorial checklist for cleanup is required and will be a part of the janitorial contract issued prior to the event. This checklist must be completed and signed by the janitorial service after final cleanup and returned to the grounds office before final approval and release of payment. This ensures that the janitorial company (Elston Cleaning) has completed the task in a satisfactory manner before the money is released.
How long do I have until everything needs to be out of the venue completely?
According to the Rules for CleanUp of Facilities, "Lessee shall be allowed one set up day for preparation for the event. If more than one day is requested for set up or clean up, the rate of one-half of the daily rate per day will be assessed. The Department will determine the additional length of time allowed. Use of any building/barn/facilities at the Illinois State Fairgrounds will require cleanup from a professional cleaning service of all areas that will be used. Multi-day events are required to have daily cleanup. The cleanup must be done immediately after the event or by 12:00 noon the following day."
